Director of Marketing
Does getting in on the ground floor of fast-growing business excite you? Are you ready to play an instrumental role in scaling a startup? If so, then we want you on our team. HomeKeepr is seeking a high energy, self-motivated, entrepreneur to develop and implement our entire B2C marketing strategy. As our first marketing hire you’ll be the mastermind behind our entire marketing effort, working directly with the executive team to define our brand and tell our story to the world.
About HomeKeepr:
We’re an online marketplace for the home services space that’s based entirely on real referrals from real people – not reviews. We’re able to do this by capturing the word of mouth recommendations that take place every day between thousands of real estate agents that use HomeKeepr and their clients in virtually every location across the nation. Our marketplace helps homeowners find trusted high-quality local pros – everyone from painters and plumbers to lenders and lawyers – giving them the comfort and security they need to make difficult – often stressful – decisions about their homes.
Who we’re looking for:
– You might not be leading a team at your current job but you’re ready to take that next big career step
– 5+ years experience with a consumer digital brand — a preference for experience at an online marketplace or network-enabled business
– Direct experience in developing strategy, implementing, testing, and refining across email, SEO, SEM, and social
– Entrepreneurial – You’re building this business with us from the ground up
– Strategic and Tactical – You’ll need to be willing to get your hands dirty and implement as well and create the strategy
– Experience working at a startup is a plus
Responsibilities will include:
– The direct answer — You will be responsible for all of HomeKeepr’s marketing activities
– Develop and implement our B2C branding and positioning strategy
– Develop marketing strategies across multiple channels and oversee their successful execution
– Manage digital marketing strategy
– Manage social media strategy
– Manage SEO/SEM
– Email and marketing automation strategy
– Product messaging
– Content strategy
– You’ll also be responsible for hiring your team

Product Manager

HomeKeepr is seeking a high energy, self-motivated, entrepreneur to take ownership of building the next evolution of HomeKeepr. As one of our earliest hires and only Product Manager you’ll have complete ownership over the product, working directly with the executive team to decide how we build HomeKeepr.

Who we’re looking for:
– You’re experienced. You’ve worked directly with engineers and designers in a product management role for 1-3+ years. Experience at an online marketplace or network-enabled business is a plus.
– You’re curious. You’re going to need to get up to speed fast. We’re going to need you to learn everything you can about our product, users, competitors, and the markets are we in.
– You love working with people and you’re a great communicator. You’ll be working directly with engineering, design, marketing, and sales. Together we’re establishing a vision for the product based on continuous and evolving feedback.
– You’re super organized and can stay focused on what’s most important. Working with the executive team you’ll set crystal clear products goals and you’ll relentlessly pursue achieving them.
– You love technology and are driven to create amazing user experiences and a desire to improve our users’ lives.
Responsibilities will include:
– You’re responsible for helping us define and implement the right product for our users
– You’ll need to develop a deep understanding of our users and the market.
– You’ll develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritize features builds, and create the feature specs for the dev team.
– You’ll work with engineering to understand the technical complexities of each feature and decide how to prioritize.
– You’ll define key success metrics.
– You’ll test & measure against these success metrics, gather & manage product feedback from users & colleagues, and decide how & when to incorporate new features into the roadmap.
– You’ll be the most knowledgeable person about the HomeKeepr product suite. You’ll be our expert.
– You’ll work with sales and marketing teams to create collateral, FAQs, etc.
– You’ll be responsible for QA.

This is a full time entry-level position that pays a salary with a commission structure plus stock options.
